Membership Application

Schedule of Fees

All applicants are required to complete the General Application Form plus any other applicable forms. 

Field Crops Application Formif producing any type of crop.

Livestock Application Form:  if producing any type of livestock.

Poultry Application Form:   if producing any type of poultry and / or eggs.

Processing Application Form:   if engaged in any kind of product value adding process, either on-farm processing or contracted/ hired off-farm processing. For example: juice/cider making, cheese making, abattoir/slaughter house, drying, pickling/preserving, etc.

These forms constitute the basis of your NSOGA Certification Binder, a system that makes it easy for you to organize you Certification records and making it easier for the Certification Committee and the Inspectors to monitor year to year progress of you operation.

NSOGA Certification BinderYou will be given a three ring binder at your first Certification Committee meeting. Attendance is mandatory for first time applicants. Your completed Application Forms will be the beginning of your binder. Additional materials will be added as you request and are granted certification for various products and processes over the years. The appropriate application forms and inspector reports are added.

Field History Record Field Activity Record:  These are useful forms for your own on-farm record keeping and give the inspector an insight of the organic status and cultural practices of each field both during and after completion of the transition period.

Individual standards

The following constitute minimum standards of organic certification, and must be met or exceeded by all NSOGA members seeking to use the "N.S.O.G.A. Certified Organic" logo. (Click on each for more information)
