In 2003, the Nova Scotia Organic Growers Association celebrated 10 years
of certifying organic farms and businesses in Nova Scotia.
Our commitment to organic certification is solid, and based on the goal of
NSOGA striving to maintain the highest organic standards in Nova Scotia.
The connection between producers and consumers is vital to the promotion
of products generated by organic farmers. NSOGA is interested in creating
opportunities to continually strengthening that relationship.
NSOGA is a grassroots organization, and we welcome any person to join us
to help in the promotion of healthful organically grown and processed
products.
This website contains information on organic certification in general, our
certification standards and process, the application forms you need to
apply to NSOGA to certify your farm or business, a listing of accepted
materials and practices and a membership form enabling you to join our
organization.
We trust you will have a pleasant and informative visit, and please take
the time to send us your comments.
